Five days exploring the craft of fiction through some of the most thrilling examples in literature. We look at how writers build character, shape plot, and use language for radically different purposes and effects. We meet writers such as Katherine Mansfield, William Maxwell, John Cheever and Lorrie Moore. Students will read closely, write daily, and develop a short story of their own.
